Can I just ask... the money that is being donated here is going purely to the continuing development of WoFF, and not to their new project.
As we don't know what that project is, I would be grateful if someone could confirm this point.
I don't know if it's possible to separate the two, Trooper. They need to stay in business in order to keep developing for WOFF and they have said future Add-on packs are in the plans for UE. (I am hoping for a Snoopy vs the Red Baron edition, but it might be tough for them to get the licensing on that.) At any rate, I think the best I can offer as a pure outsider is that the money is going to keep their doors open so they can indeed continue to produce UE content.
