I am posing this question because I have seen insurance or "warranty" included with purchase price on some of the space ships. I have heard some folks say that, while buzzing around out in the persistent universe, should you lose your ship due to combat or just running into an asteroid or something like that, you lose your ride unless you have bought insurance for it. If not, you will have to shell out another bunch of money to buy another ship. Is this really the case?

I am currently flying in DCS world and most of the planes I am flying cost me 40-60 dollars. But I have wrecked, or lost each one of them in combat, more times than I can remember. However, I have not had to go back to the E-store to purchase replacements. Is this not the case within the Star Citizen online world??

People in aviation who think they know it all, are particularly annoying to those of us who really do
