Syria fielded 2x2 battery of S-200VE in 1984 (among the first export clients), and the same amount in 1988. Total of 4 locations, with 2 batteries each.
By the way, there was a rummor that couple of days ago SAA launched S-200 against an IAF raid and shot down drone and IAF plane.... Israel confirmed the launch ot two missiles away from their planes...
