I didn't like brussels sprouts because my Mom always boil them or blanch them in liquid and they come out mushy and slimy.

Roasting them gives them flavor and they are not mushy and slimy.

Now let's talk about artichokes.... I love artichokes but Americans don't know how to make them.

They waste 3/4 of the artichokes by cutting most of the outside leaves off with a knife.

That is the best part!
