I know it was standard on the Y-wing wings and only a field modification of the T-65's for the trench attack on the first Death Star. I think the software upgrade became factory in later versions but I am not sure what time frame they are planning to model.

I'm hoping that the work on ground radar for the F-18 will be useful in ramping up to Proton Torpedo launches in non standard trajectories. I don't want to get my hopes up after the whole Pave Penny fiasco but I would love to see it..
