There is a French kids series called in English "The Flashing Blade" with an original title of "Le Chevalier Tempête" which was broadcast in 1967 as part of the Banana Splits show

I was glued to the TV when it was first on and got the DVD a few years ago so I could see the last episode which I never seen due to problems with the BBC broadcast.
