The 2-seater pilot puts it into a bank and the gunner will shoot down at a steep angle at you.. with deadly accuracy per usual.

Ideal behavior but the gunner will still hit you in no time. Adjusting heading to get back under the tail for the roller coaster ride doesn't last long until he's shooting down at you again, which should probably be more difficult to aim - with the rear of the gun tilted up so high.

This is all well & good but they seem to be just as good at the longer range and/or areas of very high gun traverse (such as below them) where I'd think their accuracy would suffer compared to normal.

I also seem to be encountering only flights of 5 DFWs at a time, in the campaign in late '17. I would expect to see singles and pairs much of the time, possibly with an escorting flight higher above, considering the historical references.
