I've tried both and had the same results. I guess I always figured the SPADs were similar to the SE5a in handling. Stable, not the most maneuverable but a powerful engine compared to rotary fighters that helps keep their nose up. I've only stalled the SE5a rarely.
I understand the idea of energy fighting but you still have to occasionally turn to get in position. Every time I dip my wing in the SPADs I lose 50 mph and go into a stall. I guess I'll have to keep working on it. smile2
