I think the norm nowadays for a movie to make a profit is to earn at least one time it's budget.
So if the budget was $110 million, it need to earn $220 million.
Ok, maybe it's me, but I would define that as TWO times its budget because 220 is 2x110. That's 100% profit perhaps.
