Exactly. A database which starts from objective facts, but then weaves the data into a game system through a personal interpretation of them, and a lot of play-testing, is both *original* and the *original* results of hard efforts.

This doesn't prevent to some twats to scream "PLAGIARISM!", but of course no one is forced to listen to twats (and to become indistinguishable from them).
