Hi all,

I worked out that I got many stutters/min-freezes when the game loads pilot's voices even though they are only very small .ogg files. I tried defragging and also both my internal sound and my usual Soundblaster card but nothing seemd to work and then I remembered having similar problems with IL-2 so I located the "NumChannels" line in my conf.ini under the "[sound]" section and changed the existing value from "3" (32 channels) to "2" (16 channels) and the problem has dissapeared. I have tried several single missions and I believe that it has solved this problem at least.

Remember, if you want to edit your conf.ini in any way to remove it from the steam cloud thingy first.

Edit: this is the conf.ini in you 1CSoftClub folder and not the one in your game folder.
Edit: I corrected my post it is still the "NumChannels" line that you need to change.
