"The Next Three Days" - Russel Crowe is a college prof and father to a little boy, his wife is arrested and prosecuted for murder. She gets so depressed she attempts suicide, then tries to break ties with the family. Crowe thinks she's having a breakdown, and that despite court records, that she's innocent. He becomes driven to break her out of jail.

That description sounds implausible. Yet the movie itself, well acted by all involved, actually seems to remain pretty plausible from start to finish...a rarity from Hollywood these days! I rate it an 8/10.
