So I'm down here at the beach for a few days visiting my parents and I went out this morning to see how the fishing was. 20-some degrees initially..and a light breeze out of the north west, which was actually nice because it knocks down the waves. Even with my one-piece fleece jumpsuit on under my dry suit I was still pretty damn cold. Mostly because the fish weren't biting so I didn't have much to do but sit out there. I did hook into a little Spiny Dogfish shark..and got another big bite, but I could only last a few hours as my fingers were starting to get painfully numb.

Tomorrow I'll head out a bit later in the day so it has a bit of a chance to warm up first..









I soaked in the hot tub for about 30 minutes after I got in..
