The recent 160s released use a utility to make or load scripts with the game settings.
Some time ago I had made 140 versions that allowed the host to run EAW in single mission mode and select the four bases from the parameters.
Yesterday I was able to add this option to the latest 160.
This means that the host can either use a script, or set the mission up in single mission mode.

Note the "Click here.........." near the top of the screen
[Linked Image]

Before I clicked it I set up the other parameters. When I clicked it I was prompted to select my home base
[Linked Image]

When that is done it automatically switches to selecting the friendly secondary base

.. then the enemy bases

..after that it re-cycles to the host base setting in case you want to change it

Having made the settings I quit EAW and launched a game at GameRanger:

The settings I made were in the "eaw.ini" file

============================
[NETOPTION]
Year=2
SkillLevel=2
MissionType=3
BattleSize=0
TimeOfDay=1
Weather=1
NoAI=0
StartOnGround=0
AllowRespawn=1
AI_PlaneUpdateRate=350
PlayerPlaneUpdateRate=35
ClockSyncRate=140
Sleep=400
Target=187
FriendlyPrimaryHB=48
FriendlySecondaryHB=11
EnemyPrimaryHB=110
EnemySecondaryHB=143
FriendlySecondaryPL=6
EnemyPrimaryPL=17
EnemySecondaryPL=18
============================

The overall system works like this. If a script is loaded then it will be used.
If not, the settings in the "eaw.ini" file will be used

I will be making an download with the new exes in it to be run in the "160MP" folder.
Included in the download will be a new version of the selector

[Linked Image]

The key thing is the "Print settings.." button. If you are hosting and clck it then the settings appear in the text box alongside.
The text can be selected and copied for pasting in the game description at GameRanger so that others can see which theatre and planeset they need to load smile

The download is now available from the "160Special" folder at MediaFire. It is named "160MPApril26thAdditions.exe"
In addition to the new exes and the selector the 352nd planeset has been added.
Another addition is the "MSNfiles" folder that some previous versions of the selector need for instant missions with those special minimum screen exes.
It has been included to avoid a possible CTD with an older PSM selector. It is not needed for the new one.

wink

Thanks ShoGun smile

Just a note. The selections are saved to the "eaw.ini" file when you make a selection. This means that you still need to select the target, even if it is the same as the one shown on the opening parameters screen. Otherwise target #0 (Brest in ETO) is used.
