Well guys,as none of you seemed inclined to 'donate' biggrin your now defunct game to the thread starter,I've ordered my own copy.I found a cheap boxed version online.Should be here by the weekend so I can finally give my opinion.

I just hope the laptop is up to the job.

Carry on.

Cheers Kome. I'm normally a SP guy but I dare say I will dip my toes into MP once I've learnt to fly some of the aircraft smile

Oh I mean for training, not Versus...

I only know pretty well the Yak-1, but there's some good formation flying or mock up furball to be had.

You should not have done that, the best version is the one bought directly from the site. And you can buy those cheap too. Steam version is not what you really want

Can you explain why? I thought the std version was the same no matter what medium you bought it on?

They are the same.

I think he is just someone who doesn't like steam.

I expect he meant that buying it direct from 1CGS gives them the most money in that if I had bought it off Steam,Steam would get a cut.

I don't care about that,in fact I'm not sure if they are deserving of any of my money...yet.Time will tell. Still waiting for delivery.

I don't give a hoot about the unlocks... tired of hearing about them. It's a decent offline single player experience I would want sorted above anything else.
That of course will rely on the user made missions when we eventually get to see the much heralded FME... which may or may not allow the user to make campaigns. I think the Dev's still haven't said whether that's possible or not. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong smile

The last statement from the devs I saw regarding this, was that currently the ME for BOS did not have that ability, only single missions. And that was several weeks ago.
With the delay and now that they are referring to is as a "FME" rather than just a ME, would lead me to think they are making tweaks to it to make it more campaign friendly.

Just a guess on my part, would be nice if they would share some of what abilities this FME will include.

Jason and Albert have shown to have way different views on what a simgame is compared to me so next installment/product they present will not be of any interest until end users discuss features and missions that will catch my interest, and that's after 308 such threads to be read.
(and it will not be the current airquake style of multiplayer "look at my stats!" features but historically relevant missions/content/features)
