A "quiet" emergency flight taught me something very important about fixed wing flight... an old style cessna absolutely must maintain a decent climb rate (maybe) on fsx to soar over a 5895 meters mountain as the Kilimanjaro , and NO ...in case of emergency It's not possible to have the maneuverability of an f18 and avoid the ground.

Takeoff

Kilimanjaro peak in the clouds \ ground terrain

the strenuous climb starts now

Hey Kilimanjaro !

uuuuarrghhhhhhhhh ..... eek2

And now who saves the saviors? salute pilot

I was looking at this mission this morning thinking hmmmm am I ready? I've gone through the beginner missions. I've started on the intermediate missions. It's been fun so far. Landing on the bus, well, I'll keep trying...
