I fly online occasionally with the Fighting Irish Squadron as =FI=Murph.
To get the late model Mustangs with rockets, you need to install HSFX6.1. It also will give you a great many more maps than the stock game, many of which look far better.

Man....Murph, this Mustang is a real bird.
Right now I'm gliding back to my air space, lost my engine in a dog fight, but got two K's.
What a great difference.

I'll install the HSFX when I get back to base....I'm lovin' this.

OK...buried the nose, but I'm alive.
Lots of bugs to work out.
I forgot how to get rid of the writing on the screen, I think that just in the ini, gotta change the actors, my FPS on the old machine is still up in the 50-60 fps...! Gotta turn that video quality up a little .
Had to program my stick all over...some real nice stuff in this version.
The sound is bad...I only hear half of what they are saying, parts are just 'blank'.

Can't get over how well the Mustang flys....MUCH faster, much more agile....can't put my finger on it, but it moves when you pull.
And I can actually 'catch' another aircraft.
They fixed the prop pitch.

I'll try installing the HSFX now.

I want to really thank you for getting me to push this game further. I was really getting frustrated.
It will be well worth the cash....and it was more like $1800 than $800...lol....but I got the HD monitor...and all the goodies I could find. A nice cooler, 16 GBs of RAM...should fly like the Mustang!....and the wife got all new carpeting.

So you didn't take my full name online....well, I'm sure someone has it already.
