It was a bit of a let down and I thought the story line was pretty dull and unimaginative, The Dark Knight was much better....The highlight of the film for me was Cat Women, and when some cop jumps on top of a technical and kicks the gunner in head i was loling!

Yeah, some of the action scenes were surprisingly clunky, like what you just mentioned. And when all those cops rushed en masse the terrorists, who had automatic rifles...uh, yeah.

Cat Woman/Anne Hathaway was the best thing about the movie IMO, both from a visual perspective (yowza) and from a character perspective. All the leads were great, but her character was a lot of fun. The villain, well, I pity anyone having to follow in Heath Ledger's shoes. An impossible task.

Yeah, I thought that was a bit over the top and awkward. I was thinking to myself, "is this fricking Braveheart all of the sudden?". biggrin

How was it surprising? The guy is Picard's frikkin clone!

And another coincidence with ST: Nemesis

Didn't Shinzon also grow up in a prison planet and there was a big pit he had to climb?

And really... how was the climactic scene of the movie any different from this?

Yup. The coincidences are really fascinating to me. Hardy was great in Nemesis.
