I cannot afford to buy Lightwave at the moment.

I did read-up and found that LWS files are not binary (they are text). I looked at a few and wrote a script to get the list of LWO files in each LWS, and then to read the names of the textures in each LWO.

Maybe I can write a program to insert the proper loadout sections in the LWS files.

I found a free program that displays LWO models ( Keys 3D ).
I foound a free program that displays LWS scenes, but it didn't work with our scenes.
