I play il2 and COD and was wondering if this game matches in for playing with friends on the same side.
Whether it be vs humans in a mission or on a mission against the AI?

I am looking for what COD cannot give in terms of character and recreating the battles rather than the aircraft.
But I am not keen on playing it alone.

Is the whole campaign coop by any chance?

P.S. I am keen to avoid any DRM in games where possible. Is matrix games or the original game devs site the best to buy from?

Sorry, multi player is definitely not BoB 2's strong point. Single player only atm.

Don't know about DRM, the BDG developers might know the answer to that question.

Thanks. Will have to consider whether I would really get any longevity out of this game then.

No, DRM on BOBII. The game has been used by players to try maneuvers against the BOBII AI as practice before trying them on-line.

BOBII is not ready for on-line players as we need to find a experience muti-Player on line programmer.

Re. longevity: Just my two cents, but I've found that the single player dynamic campaign, with its emphasis on high historical accuracy and diverse options, ensures longevity.

Folks,

MG:

I agree. As for pure longevity that is personal and subjective however I'd say the very fact that some of us older guys have been playing this game for over a decade speaks for itself. wink
