It gets worse the more I use it.

I have literally lost stuff and don't know where it went and made a huge market mistake because of frustration trying to organize stuff to sell. Slowly letting my accounts expire till they fix it.

I've played this on an off since 2004 - 3 accounts at once at my peak. I still, despite not currently having any active accounts, regard it as the best game ever made. I don't say that lightly. It's a genuine persistent sandbox, where the best content in the game is player created and not reliant on developers. The problem is time - I simply cannot play it casually. I start, then within a week have all 3 accounts reactivated and am planning a new venture or scam or multi-month project. It takes willpower to not play.

I have an ongoing account. Even when I'm not playing I keep it active to ensure my character
keeps training. That way when I go back I can fly more ships than I did and do things I
couldn't before.
