Over the last ten years, I have enjoyed reading people taking some movie plots to critical task, challenging the naratives, like whether The Empire was really actually bad or just incompetent at leadership. Cracked.com has many of these.

You know, one thing does make me very curious. It's interesting how much political discussion "Avatar" elicited from the public when it came out but I don't recall Terminator 2 ever having that same effect even though it had a very strong anti-corporate, anti-military message.
