I seem to remember WoV playing fine when I first got this new rig with Win7 but other sim's have been occupying my time for the last several months so I havn't played WoV in awhile. When I did fire it up again I did have an issues with a weird two colored screen seperated by a diagonal line when trying to fly a mission. But I really don't know if it's a Win7 issue or my ATI GFX card since the drivers have been updated a couple of times since I last played WoV. I have managed to keep flying WoV despite Win7 or the new ATI drivers, it's a little wonky work around I found about a month ago involving starting the game in windowed mode and switching back to full screen, plus some changes in the games windows properties tab dizzy

I have looked into YAP 2 but have not decided if it's worth it just to fly a few helo missions, I have tried the helicopter mods that are available for SF and found them pretty meh. I really think it will be a long time before anyone attemps a dedicated Vietnam helo sim again so I guess thats why I don't find WoV that bad. I definately agree it's a sim that is lacking in various degrees in many areas but like so many sim's that attempt to replicate a very niche subject matter they mostly turn out less then stellar, especially if the dev isn't providing patches and continued support frown
cheers
