MaceUK33 Don't tell him Pike Veteran Registered: 01/10/05 Posts: 12693 Loc: Darlington, UK.	First patrol in command of my sub and patrolling off the NE coast of England. Came across 4 ships, identified they were merchants and tried to hit with a torpedo but realised I didn't know what I was doing so I surfaced and engaged with the deck gun... Got 2 with the deck gun which then ran out of ammo so before returning home I thought I would try some manual shots with the torpedos and I had 3 lucky hits and sank a third! The forth got away to tell the tale. On the way home the North Sea gave us a pounding. Home in sight...
