Does anyone know how to get into the sub from the dock when you are given your first command? No gangway or way down the steps so am stuck.

EDIT: Found him. Loaded the save and there were 2 men on the side with speech bubbles over their heads that weren't there before. Have had this for ages and only just getting to play it and it's a great game. Have played the others too and know that a lot of SH fans don't like 5 but I like all the enhancements so far and I am still navigating the harbour. Leaving the pen was great

You best have a look over at Subsim Mace.
There are plenty for V as you are probably aware.

I can't give you my mod list right now as my laptop is still away for repairs
I was using sound,graphics and interface mods.
I had to get rid of the abysmal aiming system that V came with for starters.

Although I struggle with manual aiming,it's far more satisfying I feel when you get it right.
However what usually happens is that there are celebrations on board my target ship when my torpedoes head off in the opposite direction
