Apparently a person has to activate the account before you can play the game. I've installed the game and registered twice -- and still haven't gotten an e-mail back from the Rise of Flight people. I register -- then get to the page where is says:

"Congratulations!"
"Please check your e-mail (which was specified during the registration). You will be receiving a confirmation letter from us shortly."

How long does it take for them to send the e-mail so I can confirm the registration and start flying?

Thanks,
Crockett

Hope they reply soon so I can see if it runs well, or goes into recycle bin

The emails are sent immediately. Check your spam.

If you don't get the email write to rof@neoqb.com and give them your account info and they will look into it.

OK -- I checked my spam folder and the e-mail was there.

However when I click the link I get taken to the "Invalid Activation Link" page as well. I've gone back and clicked the link over the course of the past hour + and keep getting taken back to the same "Invalid Activation Link" page.

Now what do I do?

Last night Lefty (who was in touch with me at Rise of Flight about my registering problem) told me he was going to work on my registering problem. Well -- he got it fixed because I was able to register tonight without a hitch -- and boy, was it worth the wait!

They're obviously having a few hiccups but as soon as I e-mailed them about the problem, Lefty got right back to me right away and assured me they would work it out. They did that and I've got to say the "customer support" was excellent!

Here's my e-mail to him ----

Lefty,

I took a chance and tried to register again tonight. The registration process went through without a hitch.

All I can say is WOW! The wait was worth it! I'm getting good frame rates in the 40's to 70's and the graphics are outstanding (Intel i5 CPU 750, Powercooler Radeon 5770, 4 Gb Corsair ram -- all stock). I even completed one mission and was able to take a few shots at an Albatros. Got back to our base but wrecked my Spad on landing. I'll have to work on that!!!

Thanks for this gorgeous sim!
