Hey guys,

Beta 5 (we skipped 4) of Laser's wonderful Dogfight Generator for Rise of Flight is now available. Download it directly here. page. Feel free to grab it and give it a try.

Laser would like your feedback and ideas on how to improve it. This version is still considered a Beta.

Great job yet again Laser and TX!

Hi Jason,

Any way we can get a list of fixs and/or added features in each new beta version post made here?

I'm actually liking the beta3...and will just stick with it, unless it's posted somewhere that 5 fixed something I hadn't run across yet, or added a feature I was hoping for or something...

It is a great ROF tool! But I'm not into downloading every version, unless I know what's different.

------------------
- Automatic recognition of planes and skins, either official or custom
- Leader always in front, even for opposite flights
- 1 month offset error corrected
- Opposite wins by default, Order only when they kill all enemy planes
- Program will ask for RoF path to know where to save SP or COOP missions and go there automatically
- Simplified template creation (basically mandatory is one command 'attack area' and optionally a counter with name 'QDG' to trigger mission objective success for Order) - see Readme for more details

Myself i have some questions for you, to know how to proceed (if needed). Using this version you will not have any subtitle telling you that 'all order planes have been killed', because there is no counter for order anymore. Question is, do you think is a good idea to have one? I removed it because initially i used the counter to set mission objective status to 'opposite wins' - but it is set anyway, in the current mission logic, from the beginning of the mission. The idea being, opposite are defenders, so they win if not completely destroyed by attackers (order).

But, because now the program (qdg) has 'Order' hardcoded as France, GB or USA, in this way i reached the strange situation where they are now the attackers - all the time. So what i ask is:

a. would be better to put back the counter which triggers (and can display subtitle) when all order planes are killed (there is one for opposite planes)?

b. would be good to have 'order' and 'opposite' as selectable ? - in this manner: France, GB or USA stay in the same side all the time, Germany and AH in the other, but they the user can set which of these 2 sides is opposite or order.

Salute love this one, made 10 2 plane flights had whole bunch of jasta 5 out to fight, neat as neat.

Something that would be nice though would be to be able to choose more than 2 skins per group. Like leader, 2,3,4,5 and maybe 6. Would be awsome, htne I would only use this one, fly as j11 with Mr Fox and Musicmans skins or J5 with my own skins. Get some nice sceens done smile

What I've been doing is open your new created file in ROF editor and change your planes there. Not that hard to do. Then re save it as any name you want.
that's how I got these shots. S!
