I preferred Windows Live Messenger, was forced to go with Skype. Now I use Steam primarily but its limited. I hardly use a mic, and group chat isn't too appealing to me. But it is an interesting program.

Just a friendly bump for this thread... this Discord chat is pretty cool and a great tool to organize on-line game sessions

Here is another punt. Discord has been great to see who is online and wanting to play games. Just log in, see who is online and ask them what they want to play.

Would work better if more people used it though. *cough* *cough*

(actually, the only reason I keep punting it is because once it's off the main page the average SimHQ user wont even know we have people using it. I feel like we need to implement recruitment quotas. You have to recruit 2 people a week to use discord or you have to play one of those barbie steam games as punishment. The person who recruits the most in a month gets a pink Cadillac (in forza) )

Yeah it has been pretty fun, it's sort of like a SimHQ chatroom.

Just a reminder that the chat still exists and is used quite a bit every day now. If you get a chance to check it out I highly recommend it!

Friendly reminder that the chat exists. We have 30+ users and several of them checked in yesterday during the downtime to see if the site was up/down.

It's a nice little program that isnt connected to the uptime of the SimHQ main server! just saying! you dont even have to download anything to use it. There is a browser option.
