BeachAV8R's AAR spurred my interest again.

Question 1:

I updated recently, but as I had RC1, RC2 and RC3 .rar files in my folder, I couldn't remember which one I installed, so I re-installed RC2.

The splash screen correctly reported 1.15.2.

Looking at the file date on the RC3 executable, I decided to update to RC3 using the same method (deleteing Objects and unraring the cohokum and common folders. The resulting 1.15.2 executable now had the later date...

When I fired it up, though, the splash screen reported 1.15.0. Is this correct??. Just in case it wasn't, I reverted back to RC2 and 1.15.2 was again properly reported. Guess RC4 is around somewhere now???

Question 2:

What is the most up to date guide on new Avionics and Key Commands?

I have an avionics manual from 1.9.0 and a Keychart from 1.14.

Question 3:

Anyone have a Cougar Profile reflecting the latest 1.15.2 keys and features?

EDIT: I found the SimHQ EECHCENTRAL and got the KeyGuide2.pdf file.

a1: it's correct. version number wasn't updated for rc3. rc4 will be available soon (this weekend maybe, for testing purposes - some things doesn't work properly and game still unstable)
a2: 1.9 keyguide quite correct. I didn't change any commands, just add some new (they appears in EECH.INI comments)

Beach's AAR have peaked my interest as well. The main problem for me is that the game has no built in key assignment function to assign keys to my warthog HOTAS. I don't use target either so I never end up playing this thing and just migrate back to DCS. Any one happen to have a target profile for the warthog that works with EECH handy ?

You can fly the A-10 warthogs in EECH?

Since when?

I assume he means he is willing to use the Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas in EECH, not to fly the A-10 plane.

I used to use a Saitek X52 with EECH and I knew that profile like the back of my hand (LOL - appropriately enough). I just started re-flying EECH and I do have a Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog and am running into the same problem as you - no in-game button assigning other than axes. So I've resigned myself to installing the TARGET software - and surprisingly, it is quite easy to make a profile using the TARGET GUI graphical setup tool. You just use your mouse to click on a control on the screen and then enter the keystroke and you just build away from there. At this point I only have a dozen commands mapped, so I'm slowly building my profile. I'll share it with you if you want, but honestly I think it is better to build your own that suits how you fly (also, mine will be a week or so before its really "done" I'd say)..

That would be fun. Eugene and I are planning a shakedown cruise at some point. I got Mr. Blastman's Cougar Profile which looks pretty good if I can get my fingers and brain to cooperate with it.

So far I have just been doing Free Flights and enjoying the scenery where my fumbling switchology can't hurt too much

Thanks for the tip beach, I may have to delve in to target to finally get flying in this thing. I wouldn't mind checking out your profile to use as a starter template and just modify from there.
