Helooo!
I was lucky enough to get out to the Autosport show at the Birmingham NEC in the UK recently, which gave me the perfect opportunity to test out my new toy. Like a couple people I've seen, I also decided to invest in a dSLR (a step up from my Powershot S2 IS) in the Nikon D60 with the standard 18-55mm kit lens.
Thought I'd just share a few shots seeing as the airshow season here in the UK is still getting ready (that and I'm still waiting for my Tamron telezoom).

Very nice shots Gopher. Looks like you're getting the hang of it very quickly. Did you take these handheld or with a tripod? And more importantly where are the pics of the "booth babes!?"

Thanks for the kind words, hbxov. I didn't have a tripod with me; I figured it would be a bit awkward to lug it around, plus I don't take myself quite that seriously just yet

On the subject of booth babes, I didn't actually see all that many, I guess I was a little late in the show for the 'highlights'. That said, I did find someone adorning a McLaren:
