Getting Lab work

So I was supposed to get Lab work yesterday. And the paperwork I was to submit had a column labeled Labs and next to that a column labeled Fast. Under the first a list of all the tests and the second it said Yes for all the tests.
Nurse: Did you fast?
Me: Pardon?
Nurse: Did you eat or Drink anything today?
Me: Um, no but I had a cup of coffee
Nurse: Cream and Sugar?
Me: Um, ..yeah?
Nurse: you were supposed to fast..
Me: Oh.., I thought it was my name...(my last name is Fast)
Nurse: *giggling I'm sorry you'll have to come back in the morning (and don't eat anything).

Hahah that is funny.
You think they would have noticed.

No one specifically told me, and the order didn't plainly state it like "If fasting is indicated take no food and only drink clear fluids after midnight yada, yada" and today I got to take home an Occult Blood Test, ya know like paint brushes, a test kit and plastic baggies. I mean who knew that I'd be doing Poop Art going into my 60's
