Today to me marks the day to 50 years to the day after graduation from high school I left for Parris Island S.C. to begin the journey that made me a Marine something I've always worn as pride and always will "not so lean not so mean but always a MARINE SEMPER FI

While not an American, I used to play American football with Marines stationed in Scotland, always had great respect for them, and man they were tough! They put me through hell to get me fit and strong to play the game, great times and hard work.

I'm not a Marine, but I fathered one. Semper Fi.
