I am trying to upload a 100x100 jpeg file that I use on many other forums. But I keep getting a "improper picture type" error ?

Happened to me. Didn't like the file extension 'jpeg'. Happy with 'jpg'. I opened the file in Photoshop and saved it as a jpg, then all was fine. Hope this helps.

I just tried to post a PNG as an attachment, it didn't like it. I opened the PNG in Paint (Win7) and saved as JPG, no problem.

I see that you solved your problem but at this time these are the only three extensions allowed.
