Vapes!

Last weekends Wings Over North Georgia Airshow just barely avoided being a total rainout. The Sunday event was dark, cold, windy and rainy. Probably the worst weather I have seen at an airshow that still moved forward, but it made for some stunning vapor!

Thanks, It was fun, but also very, very wet. Even with good equipment and rain sleeves for the lenses. I spent a good amount of time drying and cleaning the gear afterwards.

The first and third ones especially are stunning.

I remember seeing shots of the F-22 practicing in similar conditions the first time over in the UK (the show it was over for was eventually cancelled due to the poor showground conditions). There was that much vapour that you could barely make the plane out in some shots.

Man I hate shows like that, still came out with some awesome Vapor shots

The third is my favourite - great sense of movement from the 'vapes' streaming from the FA-18's wings.

Thanks everyone! It sure felt like UK type weather! On the other hand, when I was in London back in June of this year, it was sunny and almost hot for 5 of the 7 days we were there.
