I put this on my watch list awhile back and I think they have a demo on their website. I like underwater, abyss concepts for games. I wonder if this can be played successfully by oneself.

You might want to keep an eye on it. It'll have some kind of short single player campaign. What that entails exactly or how short it is, is still unknown and I haven't seen any reviews covering that part yet.
