Thrustermaster T16000M - 06/10/18 10:51 PM

Does anyone have any experience or comments regarding this combo flight package? Right now, I am using only the the Logitech Extreme3D Pro, which has served me well. Are rudder pedals very helpful compared to the twist stick by itself?

Thanks.

I think Yes, but I would prefer an TrackIR above pedals.

edit I do have Simped pedals and TrackIR5 incl the PROclip.

Hi Aroth,

I used a T16000M for a long time and was very pleased with with it.

I have always used it with pedals..
I would agree with Dutch, if money is an issue, that a head tracking solution should come first.
Just live with the twist stick until you can afford pedals.

But yes having pedals does add more to the feel of the simulation than just a twist stick.
Sometimes moving the twist axis can affect the other Axis and vice versa.

If you are referring to the Thrustmaster TFRP pedals, all I can say is never used them but they look narrow.

Already been using Trackir for some time now..

I just happened upon the Thrustmaster Combo Set the other day and it looked interesting and was wondering if I should go to pedals separately or if this combo set would be a better choice comparability wise.

IMHO - do not think the combo would offer any advantage.
Thrustmaster does have a scripting software that can be used to define what there controllers do, not sure that it does anything with these pedals and pedals only do rudder and brakes(not in WOFF) anyway.

Get the best pedals you an afford.

Thrustmaster has just announced a new set of high end pedals.
CH Products are an old standby that lots of people swear by
Saitek(now Logitech) has their pro-flight which is what I have.
VKB has a unique style of pedals
MFG Crosswinds are another high end style - readily available
Baur BRD are another high end - not so readily available.
Slaw Device RX are another high end.

I do not know if all of these are compatible with WOFF,
I would think compatible issues would be minimal.
