Think this could be interesting for using in WoXX series.
Let's hope Ankor can make this game VR ready, think the combination VR and this Haptic feedback would be a great experience.

Just got more info about this hardware, it seems it is working just like the Buttkicker module on sound produced by the game. So unlike Force Feedback, it does not need the games telemetric in/output.
It does contain a vibrating motor in the speakers, price will be $200,- for shaking your head dizzy

I had in my mind shaking your head that can not be any fun, but the idea of shaking like the old days of force feedback could be interesting. So after I did remember the very expensive butt kicker, I did search on the web and did found the race guys and homecinema builders are well familiar to a DIY cheap bass shaker design.
So based on this I went to get an
€ 53,- Pioneer amplifier https://www.pioneer-car.eu/nl/en/products/gm-a3702
2 x € 20,- tactile transducers like this one https://www.botselec.nl/body-shaker.html
The power needed 12v will be supplied by an old PSU.

Think order will be shipped to my home next week and I will give it a try and inform you about the results.

I did something like this for about $20 total not long ago. My jury is still out on this one since I've not had much time to use it, but here's a link to where I mentioned it over at SOH: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php/112112-DIY-Buttkicker These other solutions might produce a better result, or they might not, but at $20 it's a more forgiving way to test the waters.

Did receive everything today only one off the butt shaker was broken so I have to sent it back to the webstore.
Geuss no testing this weekend.

BTW. If your amplifier does have also an subwoofer output, like in a suroundamplifier, then it seems you could connect this shaker to that subwoofer output.

Back in 2008, I bought the Teknmotion Pulsewave headset for my PC gaming. One of the reasons I bought this quite obscure headset was the advertised adjustable sound vibration in the headphones. The vibration works very well in WOFF as the headphones shake a little when nearby explosions go off. For games like the ARMA series and other first person shooters, the immersion is simply wow! But I have to keep the vibration setting down otherwise you start to get headaches after a while.
