WOTR Campaign Mission - 09/07/18 12:37 PM

I have owned OFF3 & WOFF since the beginning (way over 10 years) and as a result, I am totally confused as to how to start a Campaign Mission in the new WOTR (I read the WOTR FAQ and it does not say it there either).

Any help would be appreciated on how to actually start the Campaign Mission.

Create a pilot. on main screen click campaign. Click the icon far right - advance to next event?
Then when in briefing, click the same "go to field" as in WOFF?

Do you not see the icon there PR in campaign?

You can also go to workshop and click on the "more" bottom right, then enable auto/manual campaign. Then the additional button on the campaign screen will allow you to run realtime etc ,,,

Thank you, I'm playing a Campaign Mission now.

I interpreted that button as moving to the next mission, not the current mission like WOFF.

OK no worries, I just updated the FAQ Getting Started section with a bit more info on that area.

Same thing happened to me. Thought it would cycle around but kept sending me to the next day. Clicked my way right through the battle and said I had survived and I had to enlist a new pilot.

Also if you sit long enough the clock ticks on and it will eventually auto launch into briefing (or scamble!)

To avoid waiting realtime a day, you can also turn on auto/manual time advance in workshops as I say then you can click the new button (like in WOFF) but here you can use "Fast time" option to watch the clock wizz around. It will also auto move to next event/mission/scramble
