OT: Windows 1803 update

OT: Windows 1803 update - 05/16/18 03:15 AM

Normally I am a pro-Microsoft guy.
Till now I have not had a bad update.
Tonight Windows 10 1803 update installed.
The good was that my computer still booted.
The bad was that I was unable to get both my 8" usb monitors to work.
I did not spend much time on it and did a roll back to the previous version of windows.
Fortunately that looks to have worked as advertised and my monitors are back.

Quick google search turns up a lot of horror stories.
Be warned.

It wont even install for me. Maybe that's a good thing.

My normal boot had to be reset, so I will not allow to install this update on my Woff/RoF boot, so every week I adjust the forced update intall to next week.
Like to know how to delete this already downloaded update any Windows specialist here?

Dutch,

The Microsoft Tech provided me with this link after even he couldn't get 1803 to install successfully (repeating Driver PNP Watchdog Blue Screen).

Disable Updates Tool

The link for the tool is at the bottom of the page. It's pretty easy to use.

Just follow the steps outlined here under Wushowhide.

Thanks RoF and Woff are running great and as it seems Windows April update does not bring any performance increase or improvement, only more of not needed, I will delete this update for the WoFF/RoF boot.

Update caused a WoFF.DLL error for me, rolling back solved the problem. (Logs sent to OBD)
