New Ship: Prospector Mining Ship

Seems a nice little ship though. Single person mining ship with detachable ore pods that can be picked up in space and delivered by a cargo ship for sale. It is also the size of a cutlass so it should easily fit into the hangar bay of an Endeavor. Some discussion still being had if it can fit into an Idris hangar bay (it's designed for fighters not utility craft.) I am sure we will hear about that in one of the FAQs that is coming with this ship.

If you want one of the larger ships in LTI this is a good 140$ starting point for an upgrade CCU in the next major sale. (probably November). If you have no plans to buy it then no problem as you can earn it in game. Im mainly just posting this because it's a cool new ship announced.

They are going to still have to flesh out the ship lineup for mining though. I mean there should be at least 1 more ship halfway between the size of this ship and the Orion.

I got me one too, even though I'm still more combat oriented. But hey it's something different and can use it to just do some menial tasks, etc.

I'm not complaining too much honestly.

I think that it's a pretty cool looking ship and the idea of doing a little asteroid mining, solo, is appealing. Not planning on spending any more on ships, but with the price of the Phoenix CCUs going for on the gray market now, I may unload my extra one.

Agreed I got it because it helps my org as well as doing something other than combat. I've done enough to last me more than a lifetime but sometimes just the "thrill" of finding stuff is a bit fun.
