Btw, "history of S-200 SAM Family" pages 12/13, the description of target motion uses 'angular velocity less than xx m/s' and tangential path.
I think, though please check for context, that it should be 'radial velocity' and tangential path. (i.e. that there is little or no closure).

This might also be relevant in other CW/TWS radars in others of your documents and contexts, but I spotted it in this location first.

NATO reporting Name of Strela 1 should be SA-9, your file title has it rendered as SA-8

Hopefully I can continue the translation this week. When I finish the SAM part I will pack the whole stuff into a single file with some minor fixes which will be listed in a separated doc.

Re: Army air defense - 12/23/19 05:07 PM

Ladies and gentlemen. Hereby I present as Christmas gift the whole Army Air Defense chapter.
Everything in one piece the structure and organizations as well as the equipment. It is so long that I had to make a table of content...

http://www.mediafire.com/folder/74s425m2dboy5/Army_air_defense

I put everything into the old folder which so far have been release. All the previous chapter of the equipment were strongly upgraded. It is worth to read them again.
I fixed small inaccuracies and errors but I also review the grammar. Sometimes I even did not understand what I wised to say... biggrin
