Glad that will be helpful. A local school library is a government book depository and it has some of the old soldiers' manuals in it. I've scanned the tasks from the M60 tankers' manuals that seemed possibly useful and uploaded them here for you.

I suppose an M60A2 manual wouldnt be any use to you would it? Ive also got a M728 gunnery manual, and a large list of British Army armour manuals if its any use to you.

You would also do well to ask on Tank-net.org, there are quite a few individuals on there who crewed M60A1, and doubtless would be happy to answer any questions you have.

Best of luck in your project. I thought Steel Fury was very good indeed.

Re: INTERIOR M60A1 - 07/13/10 02:54 PM

I believe the tank is a T.64, and that's what it says on the youtube video. Now that's a sim I will purchase without even think about it. Hope it came with mission editor. Are this guys the same that made the T72 sim? Hope they can reutilize that tank and add into this new sim.

Re: INTERIOR M60A1 - 07/13/10 03:28 PM

I have T-72 Balkans in Fire, simply I'm feeling lazy to check. The addition of the crewable tanks T-55, T-72 and T-34 together with some more crewable NATO tanks, Centurion maybe? Will make the sim even better. Looking forward to more info.

Re: INTERIOR M60A1 - 07/14/10 01:17 PM

I hope I may make a request, but could there be a unload main gun command, so if you have a frag round loaded, but enemy armour shows up, you could unload the frag round and replace it with a AP?
Posted By: stuart galbraith

Re: INTERIOR M60A1 - 07/17/10 10:01 AM

Thats not really typical behavior in a battle situation. If they need to change a round quickly they usually fire it throught the tube. It takes too long to unload a 105mm shell.

Hi Zvlad,

does it mean that you are not going to make another WWII sim? I was looking forward to a late war WWII sim. If so it will be a big big disappointment.

Vladimir, really excited to see what you guys are preparing with your Patton sim. It's nice to break out from the WW2 genre every now and again.

Re: INTERIOR M60A1 - 08/08/10 08:44 AM

Is that a real new "tank" sim? Or is a strategy game? Also I tought the soviet tank will be the T-64 not the T-62 frown

Wow, I've been waiting a long time for a sim featuring older tech Cold War era tanks, I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

I haven't bought a tank sim since M1A Tank Platoon, but I think I'll be getting this one.
