Reinstall, but changed operating system

Had a bad crash on my last system which ran WinXP, and I had Rising Sun installed on it. Its taken awhile but I finally have a system built and I'm running Win7 64 bit.
My problem is I'm not quite sure what to do at this point, or If Rising Sun or phase two will run on it.
What are my options?

If I have this right you have a couple options.

You can install WOV or SFP1 or SFG on your W7 machine and patch them to Oct 08. You must also install DX9c. No worry it DX9C will not override or delete DX10 or DX11 whichever you have. Then install RSXP.

Orrrrrrrr, you can update to RSW7 and pay only shipping and handling for the upgrade.

CAUTION: RSW7 was developed and is patched to Feb 2010. Any patching post Feb 2010 will pooch your RS game.

If you decide to update to the RSW7 version, send us your customer info. There may be a slight delay due to the holidays and the fact that we are in the midst of finalizing YAP3.

So I would install Strike fighters gold, then upgrade to the Win7 version and install that? I wasn't sure Strike fighters gold would work with Win7. That would probably be the way I would go.

No, you have to install SF2/RS/W7. But only SF2 patched to Feb 2010.

SFG is for RSXP if you choose to go that route on your W7 machine.

That figures, I have to somehow sell my Strike Fighters Gold and then buy Strike Fighters 2, then pay shipping and handling for the W7 version of Rising Sun, correct?
Plus I know I'll have to order Phase 2 as well, because Phase 1 is so good, darn this would have made an excellent Xmas gift !

Never sell your old stuff. SFP1,WOV,SFG all will work on the W7 OS.

What blows about this was I bought the SF2 to run Win 7 and then I have the wrong version and they wouldn't provide me
with the older Feb 2010 update. IMO:
Third Wire should be able to provide me with the older version.
I am not impressed in the least bit with Third Wire. I even spoke (PM) with the head man and got nowhere. I have NO
plans to buy anymore of their products in the future.

So, I then had to buy SF for XP just to play Rising Sun. This whole deal cost me a lot of money. SF2, SF and RS1 & RS2.

Don't get me wrong. Rising Sun is worth all the money you pay. You guys did a great job!

I am just really PO'd over the Third Wire deal.
