What might be going on with the joy stick?

What might be going on with the joy stick? - 11/07/15 01:46 AM

Ever now and then I check this sim game out. I have come to the conclusion that there is something odd in the way this game handles a joy stick. It just feels very different. I've played I-L2 1946, Cliffs of Dover, and Battle of Stalingrad, Rise of Flight and DCS with the Mustang.

In War Thunder it is like the stick is fighting me. In the past I used a MSFFB2 stick and thought it was the force feedback, But now I use a Thurstmaster T16000m and I still get the same feeling.

Am I right or just completely nuts?

Um, it seems there is a limit on the amount of controllers this game will accept. I have the Thurstmaster T16000m, CH Throttle Quadrant, and Saitek Combat Rudder pedals. But when I checked the Controls it had replaced my assignments for the joystick with the CH Throttle Quadrant and the actual joystick was not even found.

Silly me!

If your joystick gets unplugged as it does sometimes when I drop it on the floor the game automatically (or so it seems) assigns values to my CHTQ.

All is good now.
