"Circuito de la Comunitat Valenciana" - driving me mad!

Hi all

Anyone with ANY sim related to this track (it's available for GTR, GPL, it's included in MotoGP and SBK titles) willing to help me out? It's the one circuit in SBKX that gives me so much headache it actually spoils all enjoyment of a Championship season. I'd almost want to skip the race there but then I'd lose my chance to win the title.

I am fine in first and third sector. I lose at least two seconds to the AI in the middle sector every time. I've used Telemetry, I've practiced against my own ghost, I've activated the ideal line display, and I still can't get sorted why I'm losing an unbelievable 1,5 seconds average to this track's middle sector.

If anyone has this thing nailed in any sim, please let me know what you are doing. Especially the part after the bend uphill straight on entry to the tight right hander.

Okay, seems I'm getting trough it now, with less aggressive brake setup and a different brake point for the final corner. Amazing how hard it can be to spot that single turn which spoils the entire speed of the lap. Maybe I ought to get SBK 2011 since that track is no longer there

I know that track from Race Pro and Race 07. Gave me fits too. That sharp turn at #8(?) always killed me. Worse than all of that though, despite the variety and some nice fast turns, it's just a boring track environment to look at. Like going to a go-kart park.

Yep, it really is not so great. Previous race was at Portimao, which is both awesome to drive and visually well done in SBKX. Valencia is dog crap compared to that.

My main problem as I've now figured out was too late a brake point for the last turn before going on the straight leading into third sector. But also the turn in at #8 is hellish as you come flying uphill with no visibility.

I'm getting the hang of it now but I've never had to work so hard on any track in any title. Thanks for Telemetry - the difficulty is to get one nice lap "by accident" to which you can then compare slower laps and see where it's lacking.
