The SimHQ "good trader" thread

At the suggestion of Gromit this thread is about Buy / Sell / Trade good experiences. If you worked with someone and they came through as promised, or did more than you expected, give them a kudo here.

While there is no guarantee a successful Buy / Sell / Trade experience is going to happen 100% of the time, it does let you know about members who have demonstrated fairness and honesty with a fellow community member.

The thread is not for any bad deals or gripes.

I purchased Over Flanders Fields + HITR expansion from SimHQ member Bandy. This is by far the best transaction I have ever had online. He sent emails as soon as he received payment and also again when it was shipped out. Everything was as stated and he sent me follow up messages to make sure things were to my liking. A little overkill on the packaging...but that's not a bad thing.

I purchased a HOTAS Cougar with the FSSB R1 joystick mod from him and it was shipped and arrived very promptly.

Unfortunately, due to a packaging problem the throttle arm was damaged during shipment, but we were able to very rapidly and amiably agree to a mutually acceptable resolution.

Other than that the HOTAS Cougar is just like new as advertised and the FSSB R1 modded joystick works perfectly.
