Just noticed this as a featured download on a TV site. L5 - CROWDFUNDED ORIGINAL DRAMAL5 is a completely crowd-funded production, through the generosity of donors from sites such as kickstarter and indiegogo, the creative team of L5 has spent a year bringing the story to life. Director: Stanley Von Medvey Writer: Tom Ptasinski Producers: Tom Ptasinski, Adam Nelson The crew aboard the spaceship Argo has just awoken from hypersleep to a nightmare. Having spent the last twenty years searching for a new home to salvage humanity from a dying earth they return home and find something has gone terribly wrong. They have been mysteriously impelled 200 years into the future and find not a trace of any human life. The Argos Commander, Dr. Richard Adams is determined to find some answers and, aided by the ships surgeon, Rod Lewis, and onboard Artificial Intelligence, Clarke, decides to explore the one clue to the massive floating ONeill colony named L5. After an exploratory skiff goes missing inside the colony, Adams and Lewis venture inside themselves to find the answers they seek, nothing can prepare them for what they are about to find. http://www.bagtaggar.com/l5series/http://vodo.net/l5 I'll watch this week some time. Love the crowd-sourcing idea, pretty sure a new Firefly series could get funded that way!

I just finished the (1.2Gb) torrent download and it monstered along at 600+k the whole way, plenty of open seeds.
I'd paste the direct torrent file link but, ironically, I go back to get it and Vodo is down! So yes, I guess they have intermittent issues! (easy download once you get hold of it, though).
Cheers, Spinner

Very promising first episode, and really nice CGI and visual style. Reminds me a bit of Mass Effect and Independence War 2. I recommend it to everyone here.

I agree, very enjoyable. Accomplished achievement on a $10k budget! Great visual, audio, script and editing.
Cheers, Spinner

It was ok, although sometimes it reminded me of those old interactive games we used to see in the 90's because of the live action against CGI backgrounds and I kept seeing the film crew and studio lights reflected in the helmet visors But it is an interesting story and I do want to find out what happened.
