Well, I would be happy to. . .

As a campaign builder first and foremost (modding SFP1 to WW2 campaign got me started way back when) I am a huge supporter of one-download one-click installs for mod packages.

My first (and probably most famous/successful) campaign d/l was BoB for SF1 series. It started as a one-stop, one d/l, install package, and then, for all the usual reasons, it had to be split up. Not my call, but done for no doubt good reasons by the guys who owned the IP.

Same with this.

For good reasons, which I understand and support, Pfunk has made Black Sea 2.0 terrain a SimHQ exclusive.

However, all the a/c which are required for a 2004 Ukraine vs Russia campaign, are not SimHQ exclusive. Those a/c are all included in the NATO Fighters 4+ package available at CombatAce.

The simplest solution, as a campaign builder, is to drop Pfunk's Black Sea 2.0 terrain into your NF 4+ install, then drop my campaign files on top of that.

I have no agenda, issue, preference, or partisanship where you get your mods.

I support CA, SimHQ, capun's A-Team Skunkworks, and all the rest.

I have built campaign and terrain mods for all contributors.

Pfunk's Black Sea 2.0 Terrain is well thought out, carefully constructed, and deserving of further exposure.

If you have to join CA to get my campaign mod and the NF4+ package, so be it.

If the CA crowd have to join up here and make 100+ posts to get Pfunk's terrain to play my campaign mod, doesn't that benefit everyone?

And Sag, if you choose to publish your Canadian terrain, and make it an exclusive d/l on your personal site, I will seek to gain admittance and write a campaign for your terrain as well . . .

And advertise your exclusive d/l wherever I can. . .

You get the picture?

We are all part of the same big community ;-)

I have had request for campaign background information, so here it is:-

Plot:-

2004, Ukraine. . .

The Pro-Western Democratic Orange Revolution falters as its charismatic leader, the lawfully elected president of Ukraine, is assassinated.

Elections are held, but massive civil unrest ensues as the opposition leader of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Party claims a landslide victory amid allegations of electoral corruption and violence. The USSP seeks military aid from Moscow to quell the unrest.

However, a powerful cabal of Ukrainian generals swear to defend the independence of their nation, and to protect the Ukrainian People from this new Russian invasion. . .

and, from Russian perspective:-

2004, Ukraine. . .

The stability of the region is threatened when the pro-Western President of Ukraine, the Leader of the Orange Revolution, is assassinated.

Elections are held, and the pro-Russian leader of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Party is lawfully elected as the new President of Ukraine.

Dissident Ukrainian Generals stir up unrest within terrorist elements of the population and attempt to seize control in a bloody coup. The newly elected Ukrainian President seeks Moscow's help in quelling the unrest. As Russian security interests are threatened, Moscow sends military aid to crush the Orange Revolution. . .

Flyable Aircraft:-

Ukraine:-
Su-27
MiG-29A
Su-25
Su-24M

Russia:-
MiG-31
Su-27
MiG-29A
Su-24M
Su-25

The campaign features a full ground war, and all mission types are player flyable, depending on your choice of squadron, so, MiG-31 is mainly intercept, Su-27 air superiority, Su-25 mainly CAS, Su-24M for strike runs. Please note, you will require a working NATO Fighters 4+ install for the flyable aircraft featured in this campaign.

Cheers,

Baltika.

It's probably better that he doesn't. Anything that comes from other sites needs to remain there and not because it's inferior material (it clearly isn't) but because of the rights of the owners of that material.

People who create mods for games need to have their rights respected. If the makers of a mod want to upload their content here, they will let us know.

It was a recommendation to upload it and I don't believe it warranted the size of the response. My five word post could have been answered with' Sorry, can't do that cause all of the rest of the parts are at CA"

Doesn't surprise me.
