Thanks for the link! I wasn't expecting much but that is a really well written, useful document. They guy has a sense of humor as well.

In the Pacific, the Indian Ocean, and the Atlantic we remember the multitude of resentful sleeping warriors; in our ears we hear the whisper of the "voices from the bottom of the sea."

Excellent link! The author put a great deal of time into it.

Interesting to see he is a WW2Online player.

Thanks for the heads up.

Fantastic. I can fill most of the gaps that still exist in the IL2 Guide by the guys at Eastern Skies with this.

Thanks you very much for the link!

BMBM - great work. Being a cheapskate I printed it out 4 pages/page...but I am enjoying it so much I need to go back and print it out properly. No good having it in tiny type when I reckon I'll read it again and again.

Good fun and very educational for a flying imbecile like myself.

A fantastic piece of work..... This should be required reading for anyone who considers himself a simmer. The thing I like about it is that it seems to be geared towards the props... jets are cool but the props get my props... (pun intended).

Warbirds is still alive and kicking.... so is Fighter Ace and Aces High... IMO the graphics and FMs/DMs arent as good as here.... but they are massively multiplayer and you can also do ground vehicles and ships.... which means nothing to me becauise I am in it for the flying. I tried out WB FAA and I didnt care for it... plus all the above mentioned titles are pay to play.. AFAIC it is stupid to pay to play an inferior produt when this one is available for free.... unless of course you just want to do that. I think the hardware demands arent as high as here either and that probably has something to do with why they are still going.
