Hi I just wanted to share a little of my day. We went to Saltsburg, Pa. today, it is about 31 miles North East of Pittsburgh. The air was full of this cold white stuff!

I just cut the lawn today. We could use a season change down here.

Ah Ha! Woke up this morning with that hidious white stuff covering my car.

Had snow tyres installed today. First time to three years.

Last year we, in Toronto, recieved 150 cm. (that's about 2" shy of 6' 0")
which I believe was a record in this area....
and I shovelled ever *%#@& inch of that *%#@%& stuff....

This year I'm buying a snow blower....

Hey Ray, if you'd like, I could arrange to have a truck load of that white stuff
dropped on that front lawn of your's biggrin

Cheers mate
David

London, England.
Two nights ago...even little old England got some!

I was waiting for a couple of people at a north London tube station, when the weather dropped degrees in minutes, and there was huge sheet lighting that went off, and the sky opened for about 2-3 hours, and there was just continuous blizzard. Looking out my back garden shaded areas still have snow that hasn't melted this morning. Not anything to even concern yourself with if you are, say, Canadian, but for it to happen in London, this early, before the end of Autumn is almost unheard of. Having said that, had inches of snow at the end of spring this year too...so it's all gone mad!

"Roll out those, ....crazy, hazy, days of global warming!....With skin cancer, tornados and floods...!" (not sure those are Nat's original lyrics there!?)

Hell, if the snow would kill some of the grass I'd be happy to have it.

Mowing the grass until mid-December was definitely an an example of "the law of unintended consequences" when we decided to move south to get away from the cold weather.

We did have an 11 inch snowfall one year the day after Christmas. Two days later it was 65 degrees. I have a picture somewhere of me shoveling the snow in shorts and a t-shirt.

Must be caused by Global Warming. biggrin

Yesterday, they were talking about how much Co2 the Internet Servers put out.

Seems if we shut down the Internet, we could save the planet! frown

Bavaria
It was snowing here in Bavaria this morning, too. And temperatures not much above zero frosty

Tons of snow in Switzerland - the worst winter beginning since the thirties...

Greetings
